Mike acquired English Country Gardeners in 2010, he identified the need and the uniqueness of recruiting for the gardening sector and it’s ability for growth, given the right tools. Since then English Country Gardeners has become the leading recruitment company for the professional Gardener both in UK and Internationally.
Commercial & Operations Director
Ruth was appointed as the Commercial and Operations Director in December 2016, previously she managed the Groups management accounts, with a career in financial accounting for the private sector. Today Ruth is responsible for the day to day running of both English Country Gardeners Ltd and its sister company horticruitment UK. Ruth’s aim following on from her father Mike Fuller, the Company’s Managing Director, is to ensure that English Country Gardeners does not simply exist but thrives.
Matt joined the English Country Gardeners team in 2021, the company had reached a stage where specialist skills in Marketing were required to help pave the way for future growth. Matt had previously worked for one of the UK’s leading and most prestigious Motorsport brands. Matt will be using his experience and skillset to help drive the business forward.
Danielle is our newest member of the English Country Gardeners team, joining in November 2018. Danielle gives a great deal of support to both the consultants and management alike. Danielle has a background working as a financial administrator and data analyst.
Rebecca joined the team in 2021, having spent the majority of her professional career in Customer Service, Administration, and most recently within the Estate Agency industry. Rebecca brings a wealth of experience in building rapport with clients, as well as previous experience in floristry and a love of gardening. Rebecca is really looking forward to putting her skills to work for English Country Gardeners.
Sophie joined the English Country Gardeners team in 2021 as a Recruitment Resourcer, her role is to help the consultant team find the perfect candidate for their client’s vacancies. Before spending a year as a PPE co-ordinator for the NHS during the pandemic, Sophie spent many years working in retail management, at one of the country’s busiest shopping centres; working for several premium cookware brands.
