An exciting opportunity has become available for a knowledgeable gardener to join a lovely private garden based in Surrey on a full time and permanent basis. This position will suit a Gardener or couple (gardener / all rounded groundsperson) with the passion and enthusiasm to manage and maintain the gardens and grounds.
The beautiful all-seasons garden comprises of a large pond, herbaceous and mixed borders with a vast array of ornamental species including a blue garden and a red garden, rose garden, kitchen garden, lawn, small arboretum with specimen oaks, and a woodland area.
The successful applicant will work closely with the property owner and manage a small and flexible team to maintain this beautiful garden to the highest standards. Applicants should be equally passionate, energetic and experienced hands-on professionals. He / She will have experience in horticulturally diverse gardens, good physical fitness, and excellent plant knowledge. Practical experience with a full range of garden machinery is desired, as well as a full driving licence.
Accommodation is provided rent free for the successful applicant and will be discussed with the property owners at interview stage depending on requirements.
SALARY: Circa £30,000 depending on experience
