Head Gardener Job in Wiltshire

An experienced Head Gardener is required for a 2-acre formal Garden in Malmesbury, Wiltshire.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Walled Kitchen Garden maintenance
• Woodland maintenance
• Herbaceous Borders
• Orchards
• Formal Lawns
• Swimming Pool & tennis court maintenance
• Water Features
• Garden Maintenance
• Use of and maintenance of garden machinery
• Beekeeping experience or keen to work with bees
• Hard and soft landscaping
• House Security and pet setting when the family are away

There is room to redesign and develop parts of the Garden.

The ideal candidate will have strong horticultural knowledge but must also be happy to muck in and help out with the maintenance of the Garden. The client has 2 dogs so you must be comfortable working around animals.

Accommodation: 2 Bedroom Cottage with private garden. Partners welcome and one pet will be considered (no dogs)

Working week: Monday to Friday and Saturday morning. One afternoon off during the week

Salary: Circa £35,000 + Accommodation

Start Date: Mid October
