Estate Gardener required

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced gardener on a beautiful Estate situated in the Cotswolds.

This is a full time position and you will be joining a small dedicated team. The gardens are very well designed and varied.

We are around a 15 – 20 acre Estate with 6-7 of those being formal gardens with lots of herbaceous borders, flower beds and clever design. The gardens are very well thought out with a huge variety of plants. There has always been a huge passion for gardening here and it shows through how meticulous and gorgeous the grounds are. We need someone with a passion for gardening and experience with the type of garden we have here.

You must have a keen eye for detail, a can do attitude and the ability to work off your own initiative. The role would suit someone physically fit, able to work alone and as part of a team. Previous experience on an Estate would be preferable.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of plants, flowers, and gardening technique
  • Ability to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for horticulture
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and challenges

Hours of work: Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm with occasional overtime
Standard holiday / sick pay
Salary of up to £27,000.00 dependent on experience
Pension scheme included
Live-out position
