There are a variety of gardens, both within the estate, but also wider group of properties.

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Gardener to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the maintenance and development of our gardens, ensuring they remain beautiful and well-kept throughout the year.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planting, watering, and pruning flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Maintain garden beds by weeding, mulching, and fertilising as needed.
  • Perform regular inspections to identify and address pest or disease issues promptly.
  • Operate and maintain gardening equipment and tools safely.
  • Assist in designing and implementing garden layouts and landscape plans.
  • Collaborate with the head gardener and other team members to execute gardening projects efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the garden area.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with visitors or clients.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in gardening or landscaping preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of plants, flowers, and gardening techniques.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for horticulture.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and challenges

Benefits: £12.08 Per Hour (40hrs per week) Statutory Pension, 31 Days Holiday including Bank Holidays,
