Skilled Gardener
We are looking for a skilled gardener to work in a lovely private garden on an estate in the North Cotswolds. You would join a small team reporting to the senior gardener.
The garden, which is open occasionally to the public, consists of a large walled garden for cut flowers, fruit and vegetables; herbaceous and shrub borders; both formal and informal lawns; hedging; meadows and an orchard. There is also a large greenhouse and weekend watering duties on a rota will be required.
A horticultural qualification is preferred but not essential although relevant experience is definitely required along with good plant knowledge, enthusiasm and excellent attention to detail, completing work to a high standard. Work will be across all areas of the garden and you must be able to work alone and as part of a team.
