A new and exciting vacancy has become available for an experienced and knowledgeable Gardener to oversee the continued maintenance and development of a stunning 2-acre garden based in rural Norfolk, on a full-time basis. This is a live in position, with a 3-bedroom cottage provided to the successful candidate, with council tax paid for by the employer.

The mature gardens 2-acre gardens feature a original walled garden, which has since been divided into a large vegetable garden featuring a greenhouse and fruit cage, swimming pool with 2 large borders and a more formal stone garden featuring yew hedging. There is also a large lawn at the front of the property and a small orchard featuring approximately 20 mature apple trees.

The owners are seeking an enthusiastic individual, who has demonstratable experience within a similar setting to maintain the stunning gardens to the very highest of standards, year-round in a full-time capacity. Applicants must have a rounded skillset, including lawn care, pruning, vegetable production and general maintenance garden maintenance skills. In addition, the successful candidate will have the ability and willingness to complete basic maintenance tasks around the property when required.

A Horticultural qualification would be advantageous, but is not essential, alongside the completion of industry related tickets, such as PA1/PA6 spraying. Applicants must take pride in their work, and demonstrate a passion for horticulture, be comfortable using garden machinery and power tools, while also being an organised and self-motivated individual. The position also boasts an excellent primary school nearby, short distance to the sea-side and could potentially suit a young family.

SALARY: Up To £26,000 Dependant On Experience + 3 Bedroom Accommodation.
