Experienced Gardener
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Gardener to join our team on an historic Grade II listed landscape within a privately owned country estate in Hampshire with its own adjacent organic farm.
We are seeking a motivated and positive person, capable of working happily on their own and also as a valued part of the larger team.
The successful candidate will be creative and proactive, enjoy working hard, and have a strong Horticulture background – ideally with relevant qualifications.
Competitive Salary – £27-£32,000 p/a
Working hours Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
Holiday – 20 days plus B/H
Duties include taking care of –
- Historic formal gardens, contemporary landscape and walled kitchen garden
- Orchids and other house plants
- Propagating, planting, growing of produce and cut flowers
- Orchard trees and wildflower meadows
- Care of animals on the estate (not the farm)
- Plant research, design and planning
- General gardening duties
- General estate duties as needed
