Experienced Gardener
Experienced professional gardener sought for a private estate in the Hertfordshire Green Belt.
The estate’s gardens include approximately 12 acres of “pleasure grounds” laid out to grass with paths, mature rhododendrons, renowned 19th Century pinetum, woodland, ornamental ponds and large walled garden.
The position is full-time and is offered with a large one bedroom cottage on the estate with its own small garden. The cottage has just been refurbished.
The successful applicant must be prepared to:
- work independently or together with our other two outdoor staff
- help out or deal with various tasks around the estate
- be a self starter with good all round skills and
- have a clean driving licence
- reside full time on the estate and be generally available
Salary will be commensurate with experience with 20 days paid holiday allowance plus bank holidays.
