Skilled Gardener – Vacancy

This is an amazing opportunity for a skilled gardener to work in an historic Arts & Crafts
Garden at Rodmarton Manor, Tetbury, Gloucestershire.
The Garden mainly consists of herbaceous borders, kitchen garden, parterre, shrub
borders, topiary and a wildflower meadow. It is ever evolving with renovation projects
playing a substantial part of the annual plans.
The Skilled Gardener will work closely with the Senior Gardener, a grounds person and a
team of volunteers.
Qualifications:
Entry Level qualifications such as RHS level 1 or 2.
Good knowledge of seasonal horticultural practices such as maintaining herbaceous
borders, pruning techniques including topiary, plant propagational skills and mowing.
They should be competent with operating a wide range of machinery and a spray
certificate (PA1/PA6) is desirable.
They must be good at working on their own or as part of a team.
They must be physically fit to undertake outdoor work in various weather conditions.

Salary: £28,500 per annum
