Sole Gardener required
An experienced Gardener is sought for 24 hours per week to maintain a large private garden near Sutton Bingham Reservoir on the Somerset/Dorset border.
The position is permanent.
The 5-acre garden surrounds a lovely Grade 2 listed family home and consists of 2 ponds, a semi-tropical garden surrounding a swimming pool, a kitchen garden (in need of a complete overhaul), greenhouse, loggia, a multitude of climbing plants surrounding the house, extensive hedging, specimen trees, herbaceous borders and large areas of lawn.
The successful candidate will be required to manage most aspects of the garden and will need a good level of gardening knowledge and competency.
Working hours are flexible.
Due to the rural situation, own transport is essential.
The role would suit an experienced self-employed gardener with their own tools.
Salary: £15 per hour
