Grounds Person required

Set in the heart of the Cotswold, we pride ourselves on the facilities and outdoor spaces that we offer our students and employees. We are now recruiting for a Grounds person to join the Estates Department to continue to the maintain and improve the appearance of the Universities grounds, providing an efficient and effective service to sports and recreational areas.

About the role

This is a varied role predominantly working on our campuses in Cheltenham, you’ll work within a team to maintain the grounds for the enjoyment of students, staff and visitors. Duties will include, but not limited to:

Planning– As a team proactively identify and plan out works to be completed using own initiative.

Ground Maintenance – Grass cutting, maintaining sports pitches, hedges and over 1000 trees.

Machinery – skilled and knowledgeable in the use of a range of grounds equipment.
