Groundsman/Gardener required
Giffords Hall Estate is lovely Grade 1 Listed family home dating from the late 15th century, in a spectacular parkland setting. Extensive landscaped gardens amounting to approximately 5 acres.
A competent enthusiastic groundsman/gardener capable of working on their own, and as part of a team, is required for a private South Suffolk Estate. Duties to include grass and hedge cutting, shaping and cutting shrubs, weeding, planting plants and shrubs, planting trees, fencing, light forestry work and general maintenance work in the garden, parkland and the wider estate.
A good working knowledge of machinery (mowers, tractors, chainsaws and garden equipment) essential. PA1 knapsack spraying certificate beneficial.
40 hours (5 day) week with a good financial package, house available, if required
