Gardener
Fully experienced qualified gardener wanted for a small family Estate near Newbury/Thatcham.
The garden consists of a beautiful kitchen garden – which produces fruit and vegetables throughout the year, a green house, a walled garden with herbaceous borders, an orchard, a lake, and extensive lawns. Applicants should have extensive knowledge of all aspects of growing from propagation to planting out, pruning and hedge cutting.
A clean drivers licence and a chainsaw licence needed and would be useful to have the pesticide certificates PA6 and PA6a.
The successful applicant should be self motivated and be able to work alone. A full working knowledge of garden machinery is essential. The Estate has a full time game keeper and housekeeping couple.
Working hours are 8 hours per day (seasonal) and a salary of £25,000-£26,000 DOE is offered.
This role is a live out role.
