Experienced Gardener
EXPERIENCED GARDENER REQUIRED:
Joining the existing gardeners of a formal Hall with about 22 acres of well established gardens, on a large private country estate in Norfolk. The garden comprises of lawns, formal hedges, herbaceous and flower borders. A walled garden with scope for further development with fruit cages, two good sized greenhouses growing flowers, fruit & vegetables and potting plants for the Hall, plus a separate potting shed and a small orchard of apple and pear trees. The duties would also extend to assisting other work in and around the Hall and generally on the Estate.
Applicants should be experienced, gardeners who are enthusiastic and able to work on their own initiative. An NVQ Level 2 in Horticulture and a chainsaw certificate would be useful. A clean Driving Licence is essential. Ideally this position would suit an energetic and driven person who will take a great interest in developing, maintaining and caring for the garden and Hall.
Competitive salary based on experience.
