Estate Worker
Estate worker /Gardener required for beautiful organic, wildlife friendly property.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced person who enjoys working in a diverse range of disciplines and will enjoy the challenges that an organic property like this throws up!
It is a Full-time, permanent position offered after an initial 3 month trial period.
The property is 70 acres in total, comprising woodland, 18 acre wildflower meadow, 20 acres pasture, traditional and modern borders, orchard, domestic Veg and soft fruit garden.
The position involves using a variety of equipment including Tractor, mowers, trimming/brushcutters etc so needs a fit, physically able person. A chainsaw certificate would be an advantage.
If there were two words that describe our ethos they would be Aesthetics and Wildlife, it is important that these are always considered when undertaking any task. If you have any interest in bee-keeping we would love to hear from you.
The successful candidate will join a small dedicated, professional team who are highly motivated, they work well together when needed, but are also able to work alone in their respective areas.
It is important to have a minimum of three years experience or training of at least NVQ2, RH2 or similar.
