A skilled and experienced full-time gardener is required to take responsibility for the care and development of a beautiful, large private garden.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable gardener who takes real pride in maintaining gardens to a high standard and enjoys working independently.

The role will include:

● General maintenance of a large private garden and grounds

● Lawn care, mowing, edging and feeding

● Planting, pruning, weeding and seasonal maintenance

● Care of flower borders, shrubs, hedges and trees

● Use and maintenance of garden machinery and tools

● Keeping the garden immaculate, tidy and well presented throughout the year

● Carrying out seasonal projects and improvements as required

The ideal candidate will have:

● Proven professional gardening experience

● Good plant and horticultural knowledge

● Experience caring for large gardens or private estates

● Excellent attention to detail and high standards

● A reliable, hardworking and self-motivated approach

● The ability to work independently and use initiative

● Good knowledge of gardening machinery and safe working practices

● A full UK driving licence

RHS level 2 minimum requirement

Accommodation provided

Salary: Circa £35,000
